Upon arrival at the secret location, punters were given protective goggles and the theme was revealed - an all out cosmic dust storm. Guests revelled in their space-inspired surrounds, needing little encouragement to throw, fling, smear and smother each other in the brightly coloured holi-powder.
In no time at all, the warehouse space (decorated in black for the evening) was transformed from midnight darkness into something resembling the Aurora Lights.
Like the Melbourne Whereis The Party before it, Sydney’s Cosmic Party was designed to highlight the features of Whereis.com’s online mapping tools. The handpicked guest-list was tantalised with clues and messages before being guided to the warehouse/alternate universe via POI’s (Points Of Interest) on Whereis.com.
The collaborative efforts of some 500 party-goers resulted in the venue looking truly out-of-this-world. Until next time, keep looking to the skies…
