• Taboo was asked to help rebrand the relatively new Catering facility of the Uniting Care Prahran Mission. Under the leadership of Head Chef Ben Roche (who learnt under Jamie Oliver at 15), The Mission Caters aims to not only provide the best food and service to a wide variety of events, but to give meaningful jobs to people that have been affected by mental illness through their Participants program.

Taboo's challenge was to create a personable, functional brand identity not only for the Catering service, but also for the adjacent café located on Chapel St. The final identity is a modern take on a combination of the classic diner visual lexicon, which we feel sits perfectly with the original Art Deco style the building itself - an iconic piece of Chapel St architecture - was originally created in.
