Continuing their successful engagement with the blogging community, Taboo challenged both local and international fashion bloggers to style a photo shoot taking inspiration from Mimco’s new collection, Dreamwarp Society. As well as media kits designed to spark creativity, Taboo created an interactive microsite that hosted bloggers’ submissions and allowed the public to vote for their favourite image. The blogger who received the most votes would fly to LA for Mimco’s Season 2, 2012 shoot as an assistant stylist. Bloggers, stylists and photographers from across the globe responded eagerly to the challenge, creating a fashionable dialogue between the public and the brand. Consumer engagement and word of mouth flourished as the campaign grew to achieve over 66,000 visits to the microsite and over 24,000 votes.
