• GE came to Taboo with a problem. Students didn’t tend to know about GE’s grad programs unless they stumbled across it on seek.com or if they heard it from friends when overseas. They were losing potential top talent to the major players in the student recruitment market.

    To overcome this problem, Taboo activated a graduate recruitment campaign that demanded attention from students & made a bold statement, “We Want You” – spreading the message that GE are on the scene & are recruiting the top talent

    Taboo traveled to careers fairs around Australia. Steering away from the typical trestle table & banner set-up, we created an interactive modern office installation, which achieved a positive reaction from students & employers alike. These activations, coupled with an online & off-line media spend resulted in a rapid increase in application numbers, with GE receiving 600+ applications to their graduate programs.
